GGlot Meeting Recorder: privacy policy

Last updated October 17, 2026. This page covers the GGlot Meeting Recorder extension for Chrome. Everything else about your GGlot account is covered by the GGlot privacy policy.

What the extension does

It has one purpose: when you press Start, it records the Google Meet tab you are in (the meeting's sound and your microphone) and sends the audio to your GGlot account, where it is transcribed. It records nothing until you press Start, and it stops when you press Stop, leave the meeting, close the tab, or reach your plan's recording limit.

What it collects, and why

The extension does not read your browsing history, other tabs, the meeting's chat, or anything on other websites. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking code.

How the recording is processed and kept

Recording other people

Google Meet does not tell other participants that this extension is recording. Many places require everyone's consent before a conversation is recorded. Tell the participants that you are recording, and get their consent where the law requires it. You are responsible for the recordings you make.
